Bra Distress and Replacement

Bras need to be replaced regularly. Of course if you take delicate care of your bras by hand washing and storing them appropriately, you can increase their lifetime.

Here are Alicia Vargo’s top 11 signs that it’s time to replace your bra:

1. When you cannot read your tag in the back of your bra.

2. When you don’t remember if you purchased the bra you are wearing in white, nude or granny grey.

3. When the elasticity in the bandwidth is null and void.

4. When you are on the tightest hook and it is still loose.

5. When your bra rides up or the straps fall off constantly.

6. When you realize your body has changed. You are either spilling over or gapping in the cups.

7. When your bra has holes or rips.

8. When your bra is “pilled.”

9. When you wear your bra and the “ladies” are no longer standing “at attention” under your blouse. They look saggy.

10. When you are having back or posture issues.

11. When you are just uncomfortable and thinking about the bra that you are wearing, if the bra is a good fit you should not ever think about it.
