Camisoles - Lingerie Camisole / Lace Camisole Traditionally the woman's camisole was a form fitting top with thin, spaghetti-style straps with coverage to the waist. Today, the lingerie camisole is a multifunctional top acting as an undergarment as well as a fashionable top (see Arianne camisoles). The traditional camisole top is still the most popuar, worn as an undergarment and is typically more comfortable than a bra. Camisoles are a comfortable alternative to the bra, particularly for women with cup sizes in the A - B range. For women with larger cup sizes, C - D, look for a bra camisole that provides additional support in the bust with a sewn in bandeau style bra lining. Other popular camisole styles include the lace camisole, adorned with lace at the top or bottom, as well as the sexy stretch lace camisole, typically made of all over sheer stretch lace, which provides comfort, support and sex appeal.
