We are committed to the medical community in a multitude of ways. Our focus is both pre and post op care for augmentations, reductions, reconstruct, mastectomies, lumpectomies, and many forms of liposuctions. We have one of the largest selections of compression non-underwire bras, underwire bras, post op camisoles, prosthesis, and soft, comfortable pajamas. More and more women are wanting to purchase pretty and comfy pajamas to wake up in post op.
Pre-Op care is equally as important, as women do not wish to run around with limited mobility right after surgery looking for the garments they need to wear right after surgery, 2 weeks out, and even 2 months post surgery. Patients need a few different garments so they do not have to wash their daily wear every single day. A few different color options is always pleasing to a patient as well.
Plastic Surgeon Gift Card Program
What better way to show your appreciation to your patient than to give them a beautifully wrapped gift card to Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie. At their initial check up post-surgery or two months out, watch your patient’s face light up when you give them a gift card for a new beautiful bra or any other garment they would like to treat themselves to. Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie has professional fitters on staff via phone to assist in sizing your patient. We have many different levels of dollar amounts to choose from. We custom tailor this program to fit the needs of the practice, and we offer a discount on the gift cards so we are investing in this program as well.
Sewing pockets for Prothesis
For Post Mastectomy patients we have a specialty tailor on staff to sew pockets into most anything on line or in our retail store location. A Breast Cancer Survivor can feel just as beautiful as any other woman that shops with us.
Breast Cancer Support Group - “Breast Cancer Pirates” Stealing back one life at a time!
Many hospitals and cancer centers have encouraged Pampered Passions to start a support group. There was a desperate need in Colorado for a professionally run support group that could assist women at every stage of their journey through Breast Cancer.
I walked into the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center and there was a woman dressed as a pirate waiting for her chemotherapy appointment. This woman was dressed as a pirate along with a parrot on her shoulder and a hook at the end of her arm, in full costume. I wanted to get to know this woman and find out why she was dressed as a pirate.
Tana, the pirate shared with me her story. She was simply dealing with her cancer in this manner as she was “stealing her life back”. No need to walk the plank, as the medical community has come so far, that breast cancer is curable. So many ladies panic when they hear the word, “cancer”.
With the assistance of the medical community, dear friends and family, Tana and I created a support group called the “Breast Cancer Pirates”, stealing back one life at a time.
This support group has an interesting spin to it as it’s a Sponser-Sponseree Program. We personally pair up newly diagnosed Breast Cancer Patients with women that have successfully come through Breast Cancer in a similar situation. For example if a woman is a stage two or having a lumpectomy with radiation, no chemo, We will pair this woman up with a Breast Cancer Survivor that’s had a similar experience. It’s a personal relationship between the two women, they can talk on the phone, get together, and take the relationship wherever they would like it to go. This is quickly becoming a national program to support women at every stage of their journey.

Breast Cancer Goodie Bags for Newly Diagnosed Patients
When a patient is newly diagnosed with Breast Cancer, many hospitals, doctors and cancer centers offer them an immediate referral to Pampered Passions Post Mastectomy Services. We can ship you out beautiful bags complete with a breast cancer scarf, other goodies and our post-op services including our breast cancer support group information. It is nice to be able to offer a patient a comforting direction for their post op care.
How the Pampered Passions' Post Mastectomy Department Evolved
Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie and Post Mastectomy Services was born out of an experience that Alicia Vargo had in their retail store, located in Englewood, Colorado. In 2003, open only a month, a woman in her late 50’s walked into the store. She was a beautiful woman with fear in her eyes, looking for answers. She had recently been diagnosed with stage three Breast Cancer and her surgery was being expedited. She would experience a double mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy and radiation.
Her name was Ruth and she was desperately looking for answers to many questions. At that time, Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie did not have answers for her. She was not internet savvy and wanted local support. This most profound visit left Alicia Vargo unsettled, empathetic and disheartened.
Alicia took action immediately and within 2 months, a Post Mastectomy Department was born, she received her certification and hired a Registered and Certified Post Mastectomy Fitter. Ironically, Ruth was the first patient Alicia saw for post-operative care. Pampered Passions Post Mastectomy also provided billing services for insurance.
With Medicare changes in 2006, Pampered Passions’ was no longer able to take insurance, so codes are provided for patients to bill out their own insurance. Alicia states, “I was never going to have a woman grace our doors again that I did not have answers for to aid them through their challenges with Breast Cancer.” To date, Pampered Passions Post Mastectomy Department has fit 100’s of Breast Cancer Survivors in prosthesis, post mastectomy bras, post op garments, balance products for lumpectomy services and much more. See Post Mastectomy Bra Fitting Services.
To date, Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie and Post Mastectomy Services has seven Post Mastectomy Fitters on staff, is endorsed by the American Cancer Society, Centura.org, Health One Cares, Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Oncologists and many Plastic Surgeons from all over the country.

Pre-Vivers
The Pre-vivor category is growing, as women that have the family history gene are being pro-active and having mastectomies, before they are diagnosed. 5-10% of all women have a gene history, 20-30% have a history of breast cancer. There is an 80% likelihood of getting breast cancer with the family gene. “American Cancer Society”.
