The Perfect Bridal Lingerie

I had no idea how hard it would be to find the perfect bridal lingerie. In fact, I thought that the lingerie would be so easy to find that I waited until a week before my big day to go and pick out something special.

I guess I should have given it more forethought since your wedding night is such a special evening, but I had become so preoccupied with all of the other details of the wedding that I had waited to the last minute to find the perfect bridal lingerie. A mistake that almost lead me to my first bridezilla moment.

A week before my wedding I decided to go to the mall to find my bridal lingerie. There were two lingerie stores in my mall and a couple of department stores so I was pretty confident that I would be able to find something nice. I started my trip at the two lingerie stores.

Since my wedding was in the winter I saw tons of special holiday lingerie, but only a few different styles for brides. None of the lingerie that either store had was even remotely close to what I was looking for. I wanted something sexy yet elegant enough for my wedding night.

The first store had an awful long satin white gown and then an all white get up that looked like a French maid costume. I was completely disappointed. The second lingerie store was no better.

As I headed into the department store I started to feel the panic rise up inside of me. I realized that I probably should have placed more importance on finding the lingerie for my wedding night.

I sulked through the department stores one at a time listening to sales clerks tell me to check out the lingerie stores in the mall. I will admit, I was close to having a break down of epic bridezilla proportions.

I decided that I needed to buy something, so I ventured back into the first lingerie store and sadly looked at my options.

I was leaning towards the all white maid get-up when the clerk approached me. She saw the desperation in my eyes and whispered to me, “Go online, you will find a much greater selection.”

Although I didn’t know if I’d have enough time to have something shipped out I heeded her advice. I went home, jumped online, and started browsing through the huge selection of bridal merchandise.

Within minutes I found exactly what I had in mind and saw that the retailer offered expedited shipping. I couldn’t have been more relieved!

Plus Size Lingerie Shopping

As a plus size girl, I always had a difficult time finding sexy lingerie in my size at my local stores. There were some plus sized stores that carried lingerie, but it really wasn’t anywhere close to being as sexy as the lingerie available for more petite women. I wanted to wear lingerie that was just as sexy. I would browse through the stores looking at sexy sheer lingerie and corsets that I could never fit into.

One day one of the clerks working at the store caught me browsing through the racks in hopes of squeezing into an extra large. She smiled at me and said that she was going to let me in on her little secret. Although she was slightly smaller than me she said that she had a hard time fitting into her store’s merchandise herself. She wrote down a web address and told me that I’d never want to shop for lingerie anywhere else.

I had nothing to lose so I went home and got online. I immediately was connected to an online lingerie super store that carried a huge selection of their popular lingerie items in plus sizes. This lingerie was much cheaper that the lingerie at the mall. In fact, it was probably about half the price. This all seemed too good to be true. Looking for Something New to Add to Your Lingerie Drawer?

I was looking for some new lingerie that was different from all of the lacey and sheer stuff that I normally wore. My bra selection was pretty lackluster. I had a lot of bras, but most of them were black, red, or pink and made of satin and trimmed with lace. I loved shopping for lingerie but it seemed as if every time that I went to the lingerie store I only saw merchandise that was similar to something that I already owned. I wanted to buy something different that I didn’t already have inside of my closet.

I decided to see if I could find some different styles of lingerie online. I knew that when I needed to find something that I couldn’t get from the local stores, I turned to the internet. I was hoping that the same principle would apply to lingerie. I also liked how competitively priced items were online. Since comparison shopping was so easy, many retailers automatically offered the lowest prices that they could in order to attract buyers.

After a quick search for sexy lingerie I was directed to a number of various online lingerie retailers. I clicked on the more popular stores and was instantly amazed by how many different items that they carried. They had lingerie items that I had never seen before in a local store. Their selection was way more expansive and the prices were much cheaper than the stores that I had been going to. Shopping for Sexy Lingerie

I do all of my sexy lingerie shopping online. I used to go to the mall for all of my shopping. I would typically visit the mall a few times a month. When it came to lingerie, my mall had one lingerie store and a few department stores that carried lingerie. The department stores were expensive and carried a limited selection of stock. The lingerie store was even more expensive but they at least had a little bit more merchandise to browse through. I was often disappointed when I was unable to find something that I had in mind that I wanted to buy. I would see a cute corset with garters, yet they wouldn’t carry the thigh high stockings to go with the garters. Shopping for sexy lingerie at the stores wasn’t easy, especially when I had something specific in mind that I wanted to buy.

One day I stumbled across an online lingerie retailer when I was looking for some hosiery to go with my Halloween costume. I was pretty surprised by the selection of merchandise that they had available. They had corsets, baby dolls, matching bra and panty sets, night gowns, sexy sheer lingerie, and some of the hottest micro mini thongs I had ever seen. A lot of the lingerie was available in different colors and it seemed as if they had my size in stock for every item that I was interested in purchasing.
