Va Bien was founded in 1979 by Marianne and Richard Gimble with the purpose of supporting women through innovative, solution-driven shapewear and bras. Shapewear at the time featured outer panels and obtrusive stitching. It showed through outfits and was coarse to the skin. It was impractical and hardly feminine. In turn, Va Bien designed the Secret All-in-One, the smooth and streamlined bodysuit. Sleek and body-soft, it quickly grew in popularity and launched Va Bien into the market. Va Bien has continued to innovate ever since, most recently with the patented Ultra-Lift Bra Cup, which no allows women to conquer previously challenging outfit features such as strapless and low-plunge cuts. Today Va Bien is still run by Marianne and Richard, now along with their son Gregory.
